This rich programme centres around a collection of poems set to music by Stanford, Songs of the Fleet, first performed in 1910. We accompany this with works by two of Stanford’s contemporaries, and former pupils; Vaughan Williams’ Mystical Songs and Ireland’s Greater Love. Come & Sing - Handel's Messiah!

Come & Sing Workshop - Handel's Messiah with Streatham Choral

Join conductor, Calum Fraser, and members of Streatham Choral to develop your vocal skills and sing your heart out to choruses from Handel's timeless Messiah.

We are very excited to be taking over the entirety of the Streatham Space Project so expect an amazing atmosphere!

Singers will rotate round each of three workshops: voice coaching, small consort singing and music theory. Improve your ability to sing, to read music and sing in harmony with our professionals.

The afternoon Come & Sing will take place in the main auditorium and will be a selection of rousing choruses from the Messiah under Calum Fraser’s direction.

The day will conclude with a free informal performance at which friends and family are welcome. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Streatham Choral Society.
