Songs of the Fleet

Rutter Te Deum

Stanford Songs of the Fleet

This rich programme centres around a collection of poems set to music by Stanford, Songs of the Fleet, first performed in 1910. We accompany this with works by two of Stanford’s contemporaries, and former pupils; Vaughan Williams’ Mystical Songs and Ireland’s Greater Love. Rutter’s Te Deum, written almost 80 years later, brings a more current flavour to this programme. Expect a wide range of moods, from the reflective to the triumphant.

  • Conductor Calum Fraser

  • Organ Richard Leach

Tickets: £10.00 (£8.50 concessions). Available online, on the door, or from members of the choir. Please note there is a booking fee of £1.00 per ticket (£0.85 concessions) for online booking. Booking link coming soon…
