Our policies

Our choir’s charitable objects are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of music. In pursuit of these objects, we perform pieces from many different time periods. Since it is not possible to separate music from the history and context of its writing, we perform all pieces as originally composed. However, we recognise that some of the historic sentiments expressed may not be agreeable to modern audiences. As a choir, we do not seek to espouse the religious or political contexts of the music we perform.

Here are links to our governance policy documents, which describe how we aim to conduct the choir’s business.
